Membership

SAFC NASA was officially recognized by Sunderland Association Football Club as a Supporters' Group and by Sunderland Association Football Club Supporters' Association (SA) as an official SA branch in 2014. With these affiliations, we're in a better position to provide greater opportunities for our very own SAFC NASA members.

Membership

For the 2023/24 season, membership is offered at $5 per person/year; $10 per family/ year. For Non-North American fans who want to support the Branch, we have an "Associate Member" tier, at $5 per person/year.
Membership runs from 06/01 through 05/31 of the following year e.g. 06/01/2023 - 05/31/2024.
To help protect you, SAFC NASA uses PayPal to collect membership fees - ***no credit/debit card details are disclosed to SAFC NASA at any time during/post sign up.

Benefits of being a SAFC NASA member:
*SAFC NASA can arrange match tickets directly through the club for members visiting the UK; as an affiliated branch, we can help to access tickets for League home games and most League away games (dependent on club allocation) - NB: Associate Members will only be considered for ticketing after full members requirements have been met.
*Regular "Gatherings" coordinated by the SA.
*"Traveling" AGM (and EGM where necessary) - an opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet fellow supporters. NB: Associate Members will not be eligible to vote at AGM or EGMs
*Membership of the SAFC Supporters' Association and representation on the Branch Liaison Committee
*Members only! merchandise - limited edition items ONLY offered to NASA Members

Monies raised from membership fees and merchandise will be used to cover costs (AGM guest speaker, printing and shipping shirts, website etc.). A portion of the remaining balance will be used to purchase SAFC merchandise that will be raffled at the Annual General Meeting (% of proceeds going to our charity of choice, Washington Mind, unless specified otherwise).
