SAFC NASA held their Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) in Santa Monica the weekend of October 18 & 19, 2014.
EGM - announced new committee members and reviewed recent discussions between SAFC NASA and Sunderland AFC. NASA members witnessed an 8-0 drubbing at the hands of Southampton. However, spirits were not dampened and a wonderful weekend ensued. Highlights include.... "Kung Fu Fighting", Crap Chewbacca, "Oh-Vito Mannone", Hooters Calendar, "Cheer Up Peter Reid" (Kings Head & The Britannia), Tailgating with the Angel City Brigade, The Loveshack, Alan Gordon's Beer, She Works Hard for the Money, Double-Parked ... "Di-aye-di-aye-di-aye-Ohhhhhh!", Gerrin, "It could have been worse!" (catalyst for a riotous afternoon), Snatch!, and presentations to Lonnie Donegan.... Watched the LA Galaxy versus Seattle Sounders vie for the league title. Played out a 2-2 draw. Landon Donovan's last league game at the StubHub Center. NASA represented! |
